The hotel in Gloucester, MA is a project that has been under service management by Brazed Mechanical for a three-year period. When we took over the account, as is customary for all new accounts, we performed a full site evaluation.
Problem
During our site evaluation, we found negligent repair and maintenance work of the systems, paired with improper installation. More than a third of the hotel was offline with no effective plan in place for the necessary repair work.
Solution
Brazed Mechanical came in and immediately implemented a strategy to get all hotel rooms back online and functioning properly. Our plan was enacted successfully and full capacity was returned to the hotel.
The larger scope of what we offer is not just fixing problems at hand but finding the root of said problems. These issues were identified for hotel management and a larger-scope project was put into action. Included in this project was piping installation and repair, and the replacement of problematic condensing units. We also added a central control system that allows for full remote monitoring of all HVAC units responsible for heating and cooling the space. With this central controller, an option is provided for remote monitoring by our offices.
